Comics for the classroom - How the nerve cell sends an impulse

Description: Comics are engaging and stimulating and can be made by the student or the student can learn from a premade comic. In the case shown here the comic was used at the end of a theme on the nerve impulse as repetition. Students had to read through the comic and then fill in captions essentially fininshing the cartoon - an alternative to the more common write the story based on the pictures assignment.
